Request account deletion

This page explains how to permanently delete your Jadrio account and the personal data associated with it. Jadrio is a beach discovery app for the Croatian Adriatic, built by an independent developer.

How to request deletion

To delete your Jadrio account, send an email to the address below from the email address you used to register. Include the words "Delete my account" in the subject line. We will verify the request and confirm by email once your account and personal data have been removed. Requests are typically processed within 7 days, and always within 30 days as required by GDPR.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed: • Your email address and display name. • Your saved preferences (hotel/apartment location, group size, language, notification settings). • Your favourite beaches and visit history. • Any uploaded profile photo.

What is retained

Some data may be retained in anonymised form, with no link back to you, to keep beach information accurate for other users: • Beach contributions (surface type, access, crowd level, amenities, tips) you submitted, kept without your name or account ID. • Reviews and ratings, kept without your name or account ID. • Photos you contributed to a beach (not profile photos), kept without your name or account ID. If you want these contributions removed as well, please say so explicitly in your deletion email and we will remove them along with your account. For legal and security purposes, basic transaction logs (e.g. the fact that a deletion request was processed) may be retained for up to 12 months.
